The module will give students extensive training specific to clinical research associates’ job responsibilities in accordance with the industrial standards. All the requirements of the CRA will be taught and real-time projects or on the job training will also be provided.
Clinical Research Associates Course provides an introduction to the clinical research process and its history and development and basic study designs in varied health and biomedical/biotechnical settings. Topics include clinical trial development phases, an overview of the development of regulatory protections for human subjects, roles and responsibilities of the clinical research team and research organization, an overview of good clinical practice and the international committee on harmonization guidelines, an introduction to the institutional review board/ethics review committee functions, research terminology, and general research funding. Content includes analysis, synthesis, and evaluation through verbal and written discourse.
