Which clinical research course is right for you?
BCRI offers clinical research courses at three levels. Diplomas take 4 to 7.5 months. They cover trials, data and drug safety, and include a 3 to 6 month internship. Certifications take 1.5 to 3 months and train you for one job, such as data management, drug safety, SAS, CRA work or medical coding. Short courses add one skill. Most courses run live online and at our centre in HSR Layout, Bangalore.

Questions about our clinical research courses
Which clinical research course is best for beginners?
For a full start, choose a diploma, such as the PG Diploma or the Advanced Diploma. Diplomas cover several job areas and include an internship. If you already know the job you want, a 2-month course in data management or drug safety is quicker.
Who can join BCRI clinical research courses?
Graduates and postgraduates in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, dentistry, nursing and allied health can join. Most courses also suit working professionals who want to switch into clinical research.
How long are the courses?
Diplomas take 4 to 7.5 months. Certifications take 1.5 to 3 months. Short specialisations, such as safety database or MedDRA coding training, take about 15 to 20 hours.
What do the courses cost?
Fees range from ₹18,000 to ₹75,500 (PG Diploma in Clinical Research with SAS). Each course card shows the current fee, and the full list is on our course price list page.
Are the courses online or in Bangalore?
Most courses run both live online and in our classroom at HSR Layout, Bangalore. Clinical SAS and Advanced Regulatory Affairs are live online only. Every online course includes 3 months of class recordings.
Which courses include an internship?
All diplomas and Advanced Certifications include a 3 to 6 month internship with an SMO, CRO or hospital, mostly in Bangalore. For online students it is optional and needs you to move to the internship city.
Which courses offer Dual Certification?
The PG Diplomas, Advanced Diploma, clinical data management, pharmacovigilance and CRA courses offer Dual Certification: a BCRI certificate, plus an NSQF-aligned LSSSDC certificate after you pass LSSSDC’s offline exam. Clinical SAS, Medical Coding and Regulatory Affairs come with a BCRI certificate.
Do all courses come with placement assistance?
Yes. Every course includes placement assistance: resume help, mock interviews and job referrals. Hiring decisions rest with employers, so a job is not guaranteed.
